3M™ high performance flat back tape 2519 is a high performance, general purpose tape ideal for splicing liner boards, as well as bundling and packaging applications where adhesion to paper products is necessary. This thick, 7.1 mil tape features a strong kraft paper backing capable of resisting moisture and high temperatures and can be torn by hand for fast application. It is brown in color. 3M™ high performance flat back tape 2519 was designed specifically to be a thick, strong tape capable of meeting the everyday demands of splicing, roll starting and roll closure in challenging applications. This smooth flat back tape features an unbleached kraft paper backing that combines strength and moisture resistance with consistent unwind and hand tear ability. Its natural rubber adhesive provides excellent tack and hold, while withstanding temperatures as high as 200 deg F. 3M™ high performance flat back tape 2519 has been tested for shear and adhesion attributes, relative to use on liner board and 3M™ documentation is available here.
