Non-woven surface finishing flap wheels are an ideal choice for a wide variety of blending and finishing applications common in the metal fabrication, welding and polishing industries. Designed to deliver a consistent finish with a uniform rate of cut, flap wheels wear away continually exposing fresh abrasives. There are two types of non-woven flap wheels, non-woven only abrasive flaps where finishing is the primary application interleaf with alternating cloth and non-woven abrasive flaps (less conformable, more aggressive) for stock removal and finishing. Interleaf flap wheels must always be run in the direction indicated by the arrow. Put the aluminum oxide grain on the Bear-Tex® AO medium grit arbor non-woven flap wheel to work on your medium grit blending and cleaning tasks. The durable resin bond and web wear away constantly to keep fresh abrasives exposed for optimal performance. Tough enough to last, this wheel also conforms to intricate shapes and contours to cover all the details of your project without changing its dimensions. The arbor hole design is perfect when the wheel needs to fit an existing arbor on large portable and fixed base tools.
