They are ideal for use on portable tools to clean and remove imperfections on metal surfaces, clean, deburr or finish a variety of surfaces, blend weld seams or create decorative finishes. The open construction of the non-woven material enables aggressive cutting action and improved surface finish while maintaining its non-loading feature. Use the Bear-Tex® Rapid Prep™ AO fine grit non-woven hook and loop disc with your right angle grinder to prep, blend, clean, detail and finish your metal surfaces. The clean bond resin technology means you produce smear-free finishes on cast, ductile and gray iron, welds, stainless steels, tool steels, aluminum, fiberglass, composites, carbon steels, super alloys and titanium. The disc features an extended life, 50% better performance and 20% higher cut rate than competitor discs due to its aluminum oxide abrasive grain coating and thick layer of resin bond.
